Grandma’s home made porridge flavoured with fresh bay leaf and cinnamon sticks
Tasty traditional Caribbean saltfish sautéed with shreds of fresh peppers, onions, chives and garlic and served with boiled eggs on a bed of fresh salad. Complemented by the famous Anguillian Johnny cakes (fried or baked as you prefer).

Herbal “bush” teas made from fresh basil, lemongrass or ginger or any delightful combination

I was inspired by my Mom’s cooking…just to see what she created with what she had available, was heartwarming.
