     Anguilla Summer Festival - colorful expressions of Anguillian culture through dance, song, parades & boat racing!
1 : Heineken Boat Race at Sandy Ground
2 : August Monday – Jouvert  Morning - at the crack of dawn, people from all over the island dance in the streets from the Valley to      Sandy Ground until noon.
2 : August  Monday Boat Race at Sandy Ground
5 : August Thursday - August   Thursday Boat Race - the national sport of the island. Handmade racing boats compete everyday of       carnival for the grand prize.  Great Party also !
5 : Miss Anguilla Pageant -at the Landsome Bowl Cultural Center.  The crowning event of  carnival festivities– talented  young ladies      compete for the title of “Miss Anguilla”
6 : Parade of Troupes - Colorful parade of troupes through The Valley
